Subject: Ailing Maple
Comments: Half of our maple, we believe, was smothered by wild honeysuckle bushes growing next to it. Half is dead, and we have trimmed most of the dead branches from the tree. There are some branches we cannot reach. The other half is trying desperatley to survive. In past years, this used to be the most beautiful tree in the fall displaying brilliant red, glowing leaves. The past year or two, the leaves just fall. It comes alive every spring, but clearly is struggling. We want to save the tree, and would welcome some direction. Thank you.
